We know from experience any dog can be helped. Rosco is now part of our family at Palmetto Canine Training.

Dog (Pet) Training Basic

On-Leash Control

The Basic (on-leash) Obedience Program Includes:

Commands: Attention, Sit, Down, Stay, Come, Walk on loose-leash, and Off.

We are a premier training company in dog obedience and behavior problem management.

Our basic obedience training program is a practical and effective way to communicate with your pet within a family's daily routine or lifestyle.

There are four building blocks in dog training: Learning, correction, proofing and maintenance. The teaching block teaches the dog to associate a command with physical action he can understand. The correction block is where we teach the dog he must comply the first time we give a command. This block helps the dog understand the principles to know how to respond to corrections. The proofing block is where we expose the dog to different environments, and distractions and repeat them over and over until the dog understands the command is more important than distractions. The maintenance block is where the owner(s) continue to use the training information once the dog completes his/her program.

In addition, obedience training will give the dog something to do, reducing urges to be unruly and destructive. Obedience will calm the dog in general and increase his attentiveness to his owner(s).

Do you have these types of problems with your dog(s)? Pulls me on walks, never comes when I call, jumps up on people, barks constantly, and chews items in my house and more.
